The breakfast was decent, but what truly made my mornings enjoyable was the warm and welcoming attitude of the staff, particularly the girl serving breakfast-she was a ray of sunshine. The hotel features lovely suites with a combined living area and balcony, where I could unwind after a long day of meetings. With access to the nearby Wörthersee lake and a variety of leisure activities including tennis and hiking just a stone's throw away, it's a fantastic choice for blending work with some relaxation time. While the ambiance was charming, I did wish for a bit more in terms of culinary experiences, but the location surrounding the hotel is filled with delightful restaurants and cafes that cater to various tastes. All in all, Hotel Goritschnigg is a solid option for travelers, especially if you enjoy a family-run vibe in a picturesque setting.
